As you have seen in the past months we have been getting to know different organizations that are very concerned on our planet´s critical condition. As we had previously seen in class we have to start thinking in alternatives . WE NEED TO BE FREE TO BE GREEN.

• GLOBAL WARMING: what it is , how it´s caused , what can we do to help ::Mariana and Alexia
• How to Green the Earth :solutions that are being taken to save the Earth :::: Estefania
• Recycling and waste reduction ,E-Cycling: Recycling Electronics :::Ricardo and Raúl V.
• Green Schools: Why Environmental Education is Important
• Breaking down the Food: Composting Daniela and Christian
• Stars get involved: Carbon neutral concerts, Organizations that are being supported by the rich and famous
Here are the list of topics to develop for our English final projects you have to choose a topic , The first one to choose gets to develop the topic, therefore I need your confirmation as soon as possible .
You will need to research about your topic on the web and on the resources that I attached, you may also use your English book as a resource.
Each topic will be developed by 2 students, both of you must participate the day of the presentation and participate in the whole project, it is team work and you should all be familiarized with the whole topic.
• For may 11th you must present your research information on USB or printed .
• You will also present a powerpoint presentation with the subtopics that you are going to talk about and how you will present your information
(posters,videos,powerpoint presentations,surveys ,graphs .movie extracts etc)
• Friday May 15th you will present an oral presentation to see what you have worked on , this will be 10 % of your project grade.
• Wednesday May 20th will be used to prepare any material needed and also to make invitations ,posters and prepare everything for your presentation.
• Monday May 25th all powerpoint presentations and videos must be turned in to teacher for revision and will be returned to make any modifications needed.
• Wednesday May 27th final revision.
